High school diploma or GED required. Coding certification or willingness to obtain within one year. Minimum of one year of billing experience in a health care organization. Researches all information needed to complete billing process and including getting charge information from physicians. Keys charge information into on-line entry program and produces billing. Maintains required billing records, reports, and files. Assists with coding and error resolution.
